Turns out, the Boise State Broncos are as good at granting wishes as winning football games.
The Broncos and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho gave 12-year-old Stephen Kinsey of San Antonio a one-of-a-kind experience the past three days one that took his mind off his cancer and the burglars who ransacked the family home last month.
Stephen, who wanted to be a coach for a day at Boise State, spent Friday and Saturday with the Broncos.
He led the team onto the field and was on the sidelines as the No. 2 Broncos whipped Hawaii 42-7 Saturday.
Midway through the second quarter, Stephen summed up his experience while talking to his dad, Bryan.
I dont want it to end, he said.
