Donning my asbestos suit now. Good thing I have a beer in my hand to put out thre flames!
I had Ferry on my list. Cale I’m not familiar with.
He has a lot of songs I’m fond of. Click on the image for the video if you haven’t figured it out yet.
How about Elvin Bishop?
Don't think I'd put him on a top 10 list of voices. But he is definetly good to listen to.
Which one??? Maybe your hearing-aid batteries are getting weak??? LOL
Cale and lou formed the Velvet Undrground. If you want to hear Cale watch Shrek. Lol. His version of Hallelujah was on the sound track.
He was the guitarist, not the singer, perhaps you were thinking of Mickey Thomas, who also went on to be with Jefferson Starship.
Then he had heart attacks and bypass surgery. After all that it wouldn't be unexpected to say, during the heart attack that killed him to say, "enough."
So much GREAT music and my fingers are getting tired. That’s another thing America is blessed with, great Artists!

Elvin Bishop didn’t sing “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” in 1975? I thought he did.
Uhmmm, where’s Meatloaf, teve Perry, and Axl Rose?
Nope that was Mickey Thomas.
Apples to oranges to pomegranates to horseshoes to H-bombs.
Where’s Caruso? Chaliapin? Tibbetts? Peerce?
You need about five or six separate lists to make any sense at all. Even the ones you list should be separated into at least two or three.
Add Promised Land and A Little Less Conversation and T.R.O.U.B.L.E., for some up beat, attitude, groove.
Meat Loaf. Amazing voice.
Robert Plant, circa 1980.
Loved EB back in the day
Definitely Mr. Loaf!
