I had Ferry on my list. Cale I’m not familiar with.

He has a lot of songs I’m fond of. Click on the image for the video if you haven’t figured it out yet.

Definetly liked the Gentle Giant.
Don't think I'd put him on a top 10 list of voices. But he is definetly good to listen to.

How about Elvin Bishop? He was the guitarist, not the singer, perhaps you were thinking of Mickey Thomas, who also went on to be with Jefferson Starship.

He lost his wife ,then his kids in a fire. I cant imagine the pain. Then he had heart attacks and bypass surgery. After all that it wouldn't be unexpected to say, during the heart attack that killed him to say, "enough."

Apples to oranges to pomegranates to horseshoes to H-bombs.
Where’s Caruso? Chaliapin? Tibbetts? Peerce?
You need about five or six separate lists to make any sense at all. Even the ones you list should be separated into at least two or three.

All 3 are my favorites of Elvis. Probably show his best range and delivery out of all of them.
Add Promised Land and A Little Less Conversation and T.R.O.U.B.L.E., for some up beat, attitude, groove.
