He records here in Nashville with Allison Krauss and others.

Exactly, assuming you could stomach even listening to that diarrhea he excreted.........
Reminds me of that "Sting" idiot, essentially a droner with maybe two-three notes as he chanted along.........Message in a bottle, Message in a bottle, Message in a bottle, Message in a bottle, ...........ad nausem...........

Listen to Revelation. (I've got it in the CD player in the car)It is Good. And though Arnel sounds similar to Steve, there is just "something" missing. I've tried to identify it, and just can't.
Now Arnel, doing Steve Perry Journey, sounds almost dead nuts.

When I step on my cats tail she still sounds better than Dylan."Just like a woman..."
LOL!

My wife is the Journey aficionado/historian. I’ll ask her.

You’re missing Lou Gramm from Foreigner, Steve Perry from Journey, and Freddie Mercury from Queen - all top-notch male rock vocalists.

Every list os comprised of main stream artists. Two that should top any list is Bryan Ferry and John Cale. Ferry very rangey. Cale straight up manhood.

Any top ten list of male singers that doesn’t include Steve Perry is fiction.

I haven’t seen this one on anyone’s list yet, but Leon Redbone has a unique, fun voice.

No kidding? Off to YouTube for me to see ;-)

Funny, for years I thought Fogerty had a speech impediment, unintelligible, that everyone was too polite to mention. My little brother eventually clued me in that he was just trying for some bogus "local" inflection...........
Who knew?

The thing about The Who if you’ve seen their last couple of tours, I think Pete Townshend is now a better singer than Roger. Pete’s backing vocals have always been a crucial part of the Who sound.
