Wow... that's a lot of birds. Hope they left the place the way they found it.

It's been kind of odd here this fall. Not many geese as usual. I did take youngest daughter, Kathryn, down to the Horicon Marsh last week. We had a wonderful hike and saw plenty of geese to satisfy us.

Daughter Carolyn continues to do well, and is completely recovered from her ailments. We are so relieved.

Can't wait to see her for Christmas.

We went out last night for a shrimp fry. Enjoyed it immensely.

I'm happy to hear that Carolyn has recovered. What a joyous homecoming when she visits.

I think we will be staying home, watch a little college football and just enjoy each others company. Works for me.

We are still so giddy here in Wisconsin. I can't believe we are as strong as we are on the conservative side.

We had great candidates running. To have a business man like Ron Johnson come out of nowhere to defeat Russ Feingold is one for the ages.

Our local paper colored the counties of Wisconsin in red save for Madison, Milwaukee, and a few others that stayed blue. Out of 72 counties in Wisconsin, 60 counties turned red.
