Endgadget did a side by side comparison of the iPhone4's 960 x 640 (326 Pixels per inch per Apple) Retina Display and the Galaxy S's 800 x 480 (190 Pixels per inch per manufacturer's specs) vaunted AMOLED's "unbeatable" display at the same magnifications... and here are some examples of what they found:
