I guess we are in agreement then, because that is what I suggest by saying the dog no negative sense of feeling. Life is what it is for him, and thus it seems to be OK to say the dog does not feel bad about his situation.

Like you, I do not believe that God gave animals the ability to feel things emotionally. It is what it is with them. That is why a dog will not hold a grudge if you treat them bad. Also why a Chimpanzee will rip the face off a woman, even though he has seemed to like the woman when ever she came over to visit her friend before.

Anyway. We agree.

It’s like the old adage about who you can tell really loves you. Lock your wife and your dog in the trunk of your car and see who’s really happy to see you when you open it.
