Dog Video Ping!

Hosted by imgur.comCheck out this video of a German Spitz dog named Rowan who was born with no eyes, yet he does not know he is blind, and he uses echolocation to see. Echolocation is like sonar. It will leave you with a real good feeling I promise.....

Better to see like a bat-dolphin than a spider-bat-rat.

When people first meet Rowan, they don't know that he's blind, so they usually ask, "Why does he keep his eyes closed?" When asked about Rowan's condition, Sam's wife will tell you,

"When he was born five days early I kept waiting for him to open his eyes, and when he didn't, I took him to the vet..."

America took the Democrats to the vet last night.

Hey, you forgot the apostrophe in eyeles's, bat's, and dolphin's.

No wait ... Hmmmmm ...

Hello? Isn't this a forum for half-way literate readers????? The words "See's" CAN ONLY APPLY to something owned by an entity named "See." I learned this is FIRST GRADE.

He also doesn't feel less of a dog because he cannot see. After all, as far as he is concerned, eyes don't exist for anyone.

It's a sweet story, but the writer????

*sigh*......

My mother and stepfather love Chihuahuas. They lost Peanut in September of last year at the age of 17. Both were heartbroken, but they said they would wait a while before getting another dog—my mom had broken her ankle over the summer and the healing was a long process.

They started looking a whole 2 months later, LOL. It was decided they would get two puppies—one male and one female (both would be fixed so no more little Chis).

They found two from two different breeders—one long haired female and a short haired male. The female had a sister who was only born with one eye. My parents fell in love with her but stuck to ‘we’re getting two and that’s it.’

My stepdad went to pick up the female dog (Sassy) and somehow ended up bringing her sister home as well, LOL. My mom was not unhappy, thankfully. They now have Sassy, Oreo (the male), and Tuohy (who was named after the family in the movie ‘The Blindside’—pun intended).

Tuohy and Sassy look so much alike you can’t tell which is which from the back—you have to see their faces. Tuohy is as sweet as an angel, but she knows how to defend herself from her sister’s rough play. My kids think the one-eyed look is cool ;)
