Some are saying the silver lining in the dems keeping the Senate is that Obama can’t run against That Evil Republican Congress.
I’m not sure how much silver is in that lining. What do you think?
Alas, I think that is probably true. Most Americans attention spans are not that long and they would dole out equal blame in 2012 to the GOP and the Dems if the GOP “ran Congress”.
A GOP victory in the Senate would probably have propelled Obama to re-election, I think.
But I think with enough GOP Senators to stop his agenda entirely, plus the House, he starts to look very, very lame.
I am hopeful that a good, capable, commonsense but committed conservative will take Obama down in 12. Not sure who that is, but I think it is a real possibility...with the right candidate!
(In 8 years or 12...that man is Rubio!!!)

I heard Joe Trippe on FOX last night. He kind of hated to say that Obozo might have been better off if the GOP took the Senate.
Now Obozo won’t be able to blame the GOP House and Senate for all his woes. Obozo would have loved to use that in 2012.
He still will, but it won’t be as easy.
