Pittsburgh, PA - Wasn't sure (couldn't find) a thread about everyone's experience/plan in voting. I plan to go directly after work. Wish I could take a personal day tomorrow, cause I think it's going to be a long night!. Admin-if there is a thread regarding same, please delete.
I was in the first five in line when they opened here on Maui this morning. The lady told us to have our pictured ID ready to show to vote. I told her that if I looked Mexican and lived in Arizona, I wouldn’t have to have an ID on me. By the time we talked for a little while about that, I could see she too was a conservative. Made me feel better.
I voted this morning before work, a few minutes after the polls opened at 7:00. Even then, it was very crowded. When I finished my ballot, there was a long line at the door and people were herding up to the polling place like cattle. I live in a fairly conservative precinct, so it was safe to say they were overwhelmingly Repub/conservative voters.
How does it look for Aiona?
Pittsburgh: I voted on Sweetbriar Street in Mt. Washington. It was about 9:00 AM. Busy, but not extremely so.
It was the first time in my memory that there was a real, live Republican candidate for Congress (PA-14). Most years, the Democrat is unopposed in this old union, highly Democrat town.
Joyfully, I prayed to God and selected Melissa Haluszczak

“Mid-term EJECTIONS”
ROTFLMBO!!! I LOVE that term!
Thank you, thank you, thank you very much.
I’ll be here all week, lol.
My wife and I voted in Sharpsburg on the way home from work, at about 3:30 or so. There was no line at all. This is probably a good sign because Sharpsburg is probably 80% ‘rat. Also, there’s usually a lot of electioneering going on (illegally) at the front door and today there was none at all.
Sharpsburg, PA..suburb of Pittsbugh.
