Retailers are expected to announce Black Friday deals soon (to those of you that hate standing in line at 4AM of BF).

Thanks for the sites.
Slickdeals.net and Fatwallet.com have forums for Black Friday, I think they are superior to the black friday specific websites because slickdeals and fatwallet have hundreds of thousands of regular penny pinching deal finding users posting deals year round, they immediately give feedback on the value of these Black Friday deals, and have extensive databases of former sales offers and forum archives to compare the Black Friday deals.

OUR (pre) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL
Our 13 year old Maytag Neptune washer needed a new ($375 installed) motor, so this BLACK FRIDAY sales are were of interest to us until last night, when our washer finally failed and we could no longer wait.
Last night, we were on our way to price shop and buy in person rather then online at the local HHGregg, as we were entering the Mentor plaza I saw the BestBuy store and said to Mrs.LVD, "..let's check them out".
When we walked into the BB store, the salesman pointed out a pre BF special for the ($1099 ea.) Samsung's WF419 washer and DV419 dryer, at $599 ea. (A little more for the gas dryer that Mrs. LVD prefers).
The pair will be delivered Monday!
I doubt if we could find a special on BF unless we stand in line at 4 AM.
Thanks BB!

That’s just a few of the “Black Friday” deals that you can expect at Sears, according to the web site, BlackFriday.info, which annually tracks retailer discounts on the big shopping day.

VIZIO M260VA 26" LED-backlit LCD HDTV--US$198 at Walmart
I have that very TV at home right now—still in the box. I have to get a Comcast HDTV converter box with HDMI output, two HDMI cables, and a new Philips upconverting DVD player.
Raychuang88,GreenAccord, all,
the TV’s QAM tuner will/should pick up the HD cable stations without any converter box. Per FCC there is no upcharge for “FREE” TV, but cable companies charge for the box rental.
What I did to my JVC;
our DISH HD box is connected, and the Timewarner HD box also, I put a splitter on the cable and run a line to the TW box and one to the TV input. I get most all stations,SD and mostly locals in HD, except for the subscription movie channels, (HBO, CineMAX, etc.).
Our Monster 209# 34” XBR960 SONY in now in our bedroom (when we bought the 40” JVC), and connected to basic cable only.
You may wish to connect your existing cable to your TV and see how many stations, SD and HD, you receive. I believe basic cable w/o the box in our bedroom gives us about 7 to 10 HD stations, and most all on the basic cable service, PLUS digital stations I have never seen before, one station on the bedroom SONY is a horse race channel (in SD), I have no Idea where that one came from!!??
Bookmark for later.
Good to know this; is that a front loader?
BTW: Friday evening when we got home, we had discovered that the salesman made a $$ mistake that we did not catch at the time of purchase, so I returned to the store on Saturday morning. Not only did BB correct the mistake, but gave us free delivery for their error!
(See below, I doubt if these same models will be on sale this Black Friday).
All the local stores have price match, some like SEARS and others even sweeten the deal by a few dollars to get the sale.
Thanks!
