Well, one out of two is better than what we usually get out of Illinois! I believe there were also state house pick ups weren’t there. (as you can see, I have yet to hit the treadmill LOL)
Ya’ know what I think about the bombs intercepted over the weekend? Remember Spain a few years back? They had a terrorist attack just days before their election and then a tape from the terrorists came out which basically said, “If you elect the conservative and not the lib appeaser, you will get more of this.” Then the plebicist voted liberal.
If those bombs had detonated, I bet you dollars to doughnuts that such a tape would have surfaced. As it is, the bombs were intercepted, defused and now we’re never know if my hunch is correct.
Clearly, that terror attack which failed (over the weekend) was an attempt to sway our elections.
I also think it would have had the reverse effect. It would have galvanized our electorate and we would have voted for more conservatives than we did. Our patriots don’t cave. We get mad.
Switching subjects: Caligula says he was willing to compromise in the past. What???!!!! I remember him arrogantly telling the pubbies, “I won,” even if he doesn’t remember it.
