An update to my post on immigration. The family will be deported tomorrow. The husband was put in jail on October 22, 2010 in the maximum security area. They have paid taxes, never broken a law. They did try to do the right thing legally. A very sad situation.

Family who fled anti-Mormon anti-American sentiment will be deported Thursday

One final comment about the family being deported.

Claudio Correa was taken into custody last week after INS officials say they finally got around to addressing this family’s case.

I know how this works. The illegal immigrant is taken to jail, then is brought up to SLC, in the building next to where I work. They are then put on a bus that is all-white and has the windows painted white. I assume the father will be taken to the airport to meet his family and they will leave for Argentina. Please keep these good people in your prayers. (I know this because one of the men my father knew in Provo was arrested for being an illegal alien. My dad brought the man's suitcase to the building up here so that the man would have something to take with him back to Mexico.)

The did seek asylum, were accepted legally by immigration, now they are being thrown out?
