I agree.
We don't want to have America focused on Bush (and the pro's and con's of his legacy) between now and next Tuesday.
We need to have the focus on Obama and the very real threat he and his minions pose for our country's future.

The Bushes have never been as conservative as they’ve pretended to be. None of them.

"Yep. This moron timed the release of the book to help Obama."
I pre-ordered the book from Amazon.com, and it's scheduled for release November 9th, after the election. Why would Bush want to help Obama?

I can see you running right out and buying that book. [Sarcasm}!!!! But, what would you do with it after you got it???First, I'd color in all the pictures...Then I'd check to see if we're running out of toilet paper. Don't want the book to go to waste if it can be of some use.

Rush talking about this now.
He says he has seen the book...it will remind you of a President who loves America.

Bush is doing this to hurt conservatives. Please tell me this is sarcasm.....

All these months we've talked about how pointless it is for obama to keep blaming Bush for the situation we're in; "blame bush" has become a running joke on FR.
And not we're worried about a line from his book throwing the election, or being the "october surprise"?
Pullleeeezzzze.
IF...and I mean IF, this was capable to doing any damage it certainly will not have much effect with only 5 days to go. That includes a weekend which has a lower news viewership than other times.
Many of the "undecideds" are tired of the "blame Bush" attitude too, that's why millions of former obama voters are jumping ship.
The radical left already hates Bush and nothing will change that.
The "October surprise" is NOT a national holiday, it doesn't HAVE to happen; if they don't have one, they don't have one.
The man-child president has embodied the boy who cried wolf, and no one believes a thing he has to say anyway.

Mini review now on Drudge. It sounds like nothing that can be misaligned or twisted.
I do not think this an October surprise.

With only a sentence on Drudge, I merely asked a question. Nothing more.

Let me spell this out for you. Obama wants Bush in the news.
Obama does nothing but blame Bush. If Bush is in the news Obama's screw ups aren't. It's that simple.

Apparently Dubya did it on his own. All the more power to him but thats not how most of us saved our lives. The 12 steps are based on turning it over to your "Higher Power".
This is how W. did it and how Bill did it. It is the foundation of the 12 steps.

"It was a simple question, 'Can you remember the last day you didn't have a drink?'" So begins President George W. Bush in the opening chapter ["Quitting"]
Pardon me if I don't see the political heresy in this sentence. Could someone explain why this is so bad?

The question that should be asked by the media is :
It was a simple question, Can you remember the last day you didnt smoke crack , a cigarette and a joint ? “
To Barry.

Do really think leaked excepts from a book by Bush will swing a single vote? Or enough votes to make a difference?
What kind of thought process do you envision here? "I really hate what Obama and the Dem congress have done over the last two years and they need to be thrown out. But that Bush excerpt... hmmmmm... I totally forgot all about that guy who was president. Now I'm going to vote for my crappy ass Democratic congressman!"
Sorry, but I just don't see it.
And Bush may not be campaigning because, before Carter and Clinton destroyed it, there was a certain nobility to being an ex-president who had his turn and was now stepping aside to let history proceed without him.
Personally, I'm glad he's not following the Carter/Clinton model.

I skimmed Laura Bush's book in a religious book store, of all places.
We can now know where "amnesty" came from, and Laura is in favor of same-sex marriage and abortion.
Our pro-abortion former first lady, whose book is featured prominently in religious bookstores.
Isn't that special, that she writes a book giving her classy slap at conservatives, after her years of privilege in the WH, having been put there by conservatives?
I'm way past being done with the Bush family.

It’s not fatigue: it’s the fact that they secretly MISS him compared to this goon who inhabits the Oval Office. Bush on his worst day is 50 times better than Obama on his best.

I am not for anything that helps Democrats. Bush is helping Democrats by releasing this book before the election.
Obama constantly blames Bush for the economy.
Bush is giving Obama and assist.
If you don't see how Bush inserting himself into the newscycle helps Obama you are a complete dumbass.
