Husband and wife charged in plot to rid neighborhood of
What a pair of quacks.
The South Florida husband and wife accused of hatching a plot to rid their Palm Beach Gardens community of ducks are going to court.
Robert and Blain Aymond face misdemeanor theft charges after they rounded up eight ducks belonging to their homeowner's association and hired a trapper to take them to a shelter where they'd be killed, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The trial was expected to begin Monday morning.
Prosecutors say the Aymonds had trapped the ducks on their patio and planned to have them destroyed before the neighborhood duck lovers could rescue them.
The Aymonds could have gotten out of the duck debacle easy, after a judge offered to drop the charges if they paid a $270 fine and apologized to their neighbors. The couple declined the offer.

“planned to have them destroyed before the neighborhood duck lovers could rescue them.”
I’d hide them in my freezer.
Those black and white ducks in South Florida breed like rabbits.. and squirt duck waddle over pretty much everything on your property.. They are MORE than a nuisance.. Killing one of them can send old lady democrats and Rinos in aphorisms..
Nuisance wildlife is wildlife that...Endangered species, bobcats, alligators and venemous a have to have special permits, but otherwise you can get rid of the filthy things.■causes (or is about to cause) property damage,
■presents a threat to public safety, or
■causes an annoyance within, under or upon a building.Who can take nuisance wildlife?
Any person owning property may take nuisance wildlife on their property or they may authorize another person to take nuisance wildlife on their behalf.
