Good Morning!
Here it is again:
.AN INTENSE STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP OVER THE MIDWEST TONIGHT AND TRACK NORTHWARD TO NORTHERN SECTIONS OF MINNESOTA ON TUESDAY. THE STORM IS EXPECTED TO SLOW AND MOVE INTO SOUTHERN ONTARIO ON WEDNESDAY. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN...WITH SUSTAINED WINDS OF 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH FORECAST FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN WISCONSIN. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR DURING THE DAY TUESDAY AND AGAIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. WIND SPEEDS ARE EXPECTED TO BRIEFLY DECREASE TUESDAY NIGHT...BUT STILL REMAIN QUITE STRONG.
Right now the temps are very mild. Some parts could receive up to an inch of rain, but then the winds will turn around and come out of the north tomorrow, bring perhaps an inch of snow. Yikes!!!
I actually heard the weather forecaster refer to the storm comparable to a tropical storm. I am sure Carolyn would be amused by that.
She's doing much better. Thank the Lord!
I’m so glad Carolyn is doing much better. Tropical illnesses can become serious very quickly and they seem to require a longer recovery period.
VERY windy and rainy here; when it gusts, the rain looks like sea spray.
They're saying this is the type of gale that took down the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Watch out for downed power lines; branches etc.
Air pressure is 28.81 & falling..............super low.......
