You know how we make acronyms out of car company names- ‘Found On Road, Dead’ for Ford and suchlike?
I have a German friend who passed on a few for BMW that Germans use. Most are usable here only when edited for profanity. :-)
Very old joke. The difference between a BMW and a porcupine is the BMW has the pricks on the inside.
I have a full size white van. If I drive slowly past an elementary school (school zone speed limits you know), half the soccer moms are pulling the kids off the street and the other half are calling 911 on their cell phones. And they think “driving while black” is bad, try being a middle age white guy in a white van.
Old, but classic. Great to recycle in New England as often as possible...
How did Lexus drivers not make that list? I guess the control group had accelerator and brake problems and the two could not be distinguished from their poor behaviour.
What’s the difference between a BMW and a porcupine?
Obviously, the UK has few lifted 3/4 ton 4WD diesel pickups. I’ve never seen one driven at anything less than wide open. The taller and more unstable they get, the faster they go.
I’m reading your post on a blackberry; the way it scrolled through was friggen hysterical! +1 Internets for you..
But they sure make most cars on the road look like/drive like model T’s.Love the cars and have never had a problem after 20 years.Great cars!
What the hell is a Vauxhall????
“Traditionally the white van man is stereotyped as a bad driver”
I wonder if this is partly due to the prevalence of white vans as work vehicles. I know if I have to drive to get somewhere while “on the clock” I am usually a bit more stressed and hurried than when I’m driving on my own time.
An Opel with a few fusty British details and a different name. GM is GM the world over.
I’ve still got a cherry M3 I bought new back in ‘03- only has 25k miles on it and I just drive it occasionally for fun. Great car, and I feel the opposite of angry when I’m behind the wheel =).
Bums’ mal wieder?
