Lady On The Rock -- Joe Vitale [video, 1982]

Yo's:

A discussion on another thread mentioned Joe Walsh (some congressman or something) so naturally I thinks of the great guitarist. I remembered a tune by his friend Joe Vitale which was a hit of sorts in 1982, called "Lady on the Rock." I can't even find a complete set of lyrics, but what little I remember is really great.

She's still on the rock.

Lady on the Rock, Joe Vitale.

Holy smokes what a roster of heavyweights. That’s undoubtedly the “Bob Mayo” of Peter Frampton fame; and looks like half of Chicago, 2/3 of Crosby,Stills and Nash, and The Eagles in their entirety. Etc.

As is just about all good, modern music.

Buy the record. The fidelity will be much better.

Alas, I don’t have a very good ear. High fidelity is wasted on me.

Love the phone call bit at the end of the song.

It really is about the drummer and not a sports figure!
