Low-dose aspirin lowers colon cancer risk: UK study

Low doses of aspirin taken to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes can also lower the risk of colon cancer, British researchers reported on Thursday.

They found that aspirin reduced the number of cases of colorectal cancer by a quarter and cut colon cancer deaths by a third.

when no other drugs are available of course Aspirin is better.

Yeah I know Aspirin is multi-use, but this report is from the UK...where socialized National Health Scheme is in its last legs.

where the No 1 off the shelf item in UK equivalent of 7-11 stores is a "do-it-yourself" dental kit.

So where medications are restricted...Aspirin rules.

I am guessing a$$ cancer is whit concern to anyone stuck in Britannia at this moment in time.

The smoke wafting in from the continent will cause more death... Especially if the flames jump the channel or run the chunnel.

Another recent study connected aspirin use with pancreatic cancer. yup, the death rate is 100%.

If this highly effective drug Aspirin had been invented today, the FDA would not permit it to be sold OTC.
