Tom Bosley the folksy father of Richie Cunningham on the '70s sitcom
about the '50s, ABC's Happy Days, died Tuesday in his Palm Springs, Calif., home,
of a staph infection.
On Oct. 1 he had turned 83.
Mr. C is gone... :-(
RIP.
Very sad. I had just found a new station that carried Happy Days reruns last night and was watching one thinking what a great show that was. RIP Mr. C. Don’t know much about him as a real person, but he was a good dad to Richie and Joanie and that older brother who disappeared.

The only good ones on that show were Mr. C, Fonzie, and Ralph Malph.
Usually these deaths don’t get to me but this one stings.
At least now he’s reunited with his long lost son Chuck Cunningham.
Long before I saw Happy Days on TVland I knew him as Father Dowling.
RIP
I didn’t hear about June Cleaver! RIP, God, rest your hand on these people.
“Long before I saw Happy Days on TVland I knew him as Father Dowling.”
Rub it in, why don’t you.
