BACKFIRED: Latest Poll Shows DesJarlais In The Lead DesJarlais Now Ahead of Career Politician 45%-40%, Voters Rejecting Davis' Deception

JASPER – Public Opinion Strategies has released results from its latest poll in Tennessee's Fourth District race. The results show Scott DesJarlais' campaign of less government, lower taxes and more freedom is surging and Tennesseans are overwhelmingly rejecting the gutter politics of Rep. Davis' sinking campaign.

In response to the poll, Dr. Scott DesJarlais remarked, “We are thrilled this poll matches what we have seen throughout the Fourth District: More and more Tennesseans are joining our campaign and are rejecting the false negative campaign of my desperate opponent. Voters are fed up with dirty politics and want to rally behind someone who has a clear message and concrete convictions to get our nation back on track.”

DesJarlais for Congress campaign manager, Brent Leatherwood, added, “Clearly, Mr. Davis’ strategy of false personal attacks and bulldozers aren’t working. These polls reveal his negative campaign is collapsing and his strategy of deception is being wholeheartedly rejected. Tennesseans want someone who can articulate a message of less government, lower taxes and more freedom and that man is Scott DesJarlais.”
