Dancing With the Stars week 5 performance show is Oct. 18, and it could mean that Bristol Palin is eliminated on Oct. 19. The past two weeks have seen her and dancing partner Mark Ballas consistently at the bottom of the weekly scoreboard.
Both times Palin and Ballas have been just ahead of the lowest scoring couple, getting saved each week, despite being placed in jeopardy by the combination of judges' scores and audience home votes.
Last week, Palin and Ballas were eighth place out of nine couples, just ahead of The Situation and Karina Smirnoff during week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. It was down to these two couples at the end of the show, and it was The Situation and Smirnoff who were sent home.
The previous week, Palin and Ballas were just ahead of Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, but it was Cho and Van Amstel who went home. Now all of the low-scoring couples have been voted off the show, leaving Palin and Ballas very vulnerable at the bottom of the scoring so far this season.
As with any reality competition show, things can shift from week to week, and it could lead to Palin and Ballas putting up their best scores of the season.
So far in the season, Palin and Ballas have averaged a score of 18 out of 30, which isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this is the week where they really impress the judges, though, making their elimination a rash prediction.
The Oct. 18 Dancing With the Stars performance begins at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the promotions for the show stating that they will all be dancing to TV theme songs.

I think she’s too fat....Don;t mean to be negative. But I’m glad she’s getting out of the house. Talented?? Me thinks not. She needs to go to college and get a real skill.

Too fat? You want some skin and bones thing? Not me.
OH, that whole going to college thing is way over rated unless Dr, Lawyer, or some specific profession. In all the years I have owned businesses the college educated were the worst employees. In the computer store the ones who learned on their own and had true love and interest were far better.
I hope she had fun.
TV themes-should be fun tonight!

She lucky “The Situation” was a competitor. Ignore the “fat” comments about her. Pleasingly plump, sez I.
I didn’t recognize her in that photo!!
So you like women to look like 12 year old boys, you are gross
I hope so too!
I don’t think I would call her fat. She is a little overweight and I believe it keeps her slow on her feet.
“women to look like 12 year old boys”
What’s the problem?
