Dancing With the Stars week 5 performance show is Oct. 18, and it could mean that Bristol Palin is eliminated on Oct. 19. The past two weeks have seen her and dancing partner Mark Ballas consistently at the bottom of the weekly scoreboard.
Both times Palin and Ballas have been just ahead of the lowest scoring couple, getting saved each week, despite being placed in jeopardy by the combination of judges' scores and audience home votes.
Last week, Palin and Ballas were eighth place out of nine couples, just ahead of The Situation and Karina Smirnoff during week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. It was down to these two couples at the end of the show, and it was The Situation and Smirnoff who were sent home.
The previous week, Palin and Ballas were just ahead of Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, but it was Cho and Van Amstel who went home. Now all of the low-scoring couples have been voted off the show, leaving Palin and Ballas very vulnerable at the bottom of the scoring so far this season.
As with any reality competition show, things can shift from week to week, and it could lead to Palin and Ballas putting up their best scores of the season.
So far in the season, Palin and Ballas have averaged a score of 18 out of 30, which isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this is the week where they really impress the judges, though, making their elimination a rash prediction.
The Oct. 18 Dancing With the Stars performance begins at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the promotions for the show stating that they will all be dancing to TV theme songs.

I have a feeling tonight she is her last night..I thought her performance last night was cute, it wasn’t bad, just the gorilla suit didn’t work out for her..It was just too big and she couldn’t even move in the thing so it messed things up, after she took off the suit the rest of the dance was fine but that one part kinda sealed the deal unfortunately
Will I? ping me with the results....Long day!
I definitely agree. Can you imagine what would have happened if they told Jennifer Grey to put on a monkey suit? I noticed her Diva Attitude last night.
I don’t think that it is her week to go yet. But it’ll be close.
OK
It was just the wrong outfit to wear. If she wanted to wear a gorilla costume that’s fine, but it was just WAY too big on her and she couldn’t move. It was way over sized, the costume should have been made to fit her better so she could move, then the dance routine would have made sense. But whatever happens, happens, she had a great time and at the end, that is what matters
Bristol will be off tonight. The monkeysuit mess up ended it.
Kyle is safe!
BRISTOL IS SAFE!!!
Lord in Heaven !

WOW! I was just posting a comment that I was not sure Bristol & Mark would make it to next week, because her dancing was off last night.
I am really surprised they announced so early in the show that they made it through.
