Dancing With the Stars week 5 performance show is Oct. 18, and it could mean that Bristol Palin is eliminated on Oct. 19. The past two weeks have seen her and dancing partner Mark Ballas consistently at the bottom of the weekly scoreboard.
Both times Palin and Ballas have been just ahead of the lowest scoring couple, getting saved each week, despite being placed in jeopardy by the combination of judges' scores and audience home votes.
Last week, Palin and Ballas were eighth place out of nine couples, just ahead of The Situation and Karina Smirnoff during week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. It was down to these two couples at the end of the show, and it was The Situation and Smirnoff who were sent home.
The previous week, Palin and Ballas were just ahead of Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, but it was Cho and Van Amstel who went home. Now all of the low-scoring couples have been voted off the show, leaving Palin and Ballas very vulnerable at the bottom of the scoring so far this season.
As with any reality competition show, things can shift from week to week, and it could lead to Palin and Ballas putting up their best scores of the season.
So far in the season, Palin and Ballas have averaged a score of 18 out of 30, which isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this is the week where they really impress the judges, though, making their elimination a rash prediction.
The Oct. 18 Dancing With the Stars performance begins at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the promotions for the show stating that they will all be dancing to TV theme songs.

I haven’t been following her career, so I must have missed that.
She looked better before - very distinctive.
How the heck is Florence Henderson getting such high scores..is her dance routine THAT good or is it just a love for Carol Brady that is driving the judges to giving her good marks
It’s early yet, and the show hasn’t aired on the West Coast, so this reflects the East Coast voting up until 10:20PM. Here’s how dialidol shows the votes going as of now...
Kurt and Anna
Jennifer and Derek
Rick and Cheryl
Florence and Corky
Kyle and Lacey
Brandy and Maks
Bristol and Mark
Audrina and Tony
Given her bottom of the leader board judge’s scores, unless the West Coast really picks up the vote for Bristol and Mark, this could be her week to go.
Levi is just a useful idiot to the left..they just had him on The View to toy with him..even those hags are sick and tired of Levi and see he is a lost cause. One day a lightbulb will go off in that moron’s head and realize he was just being used. He is just a joke now
I saw a clip of Bristol on The View. She was so sweet & they treated her well. Maybe they liked her despite her being Sarah’s daughter. I really admire her for having the nerve to go on that show. I found the clip on youtube but I’m on my ITouch & can’t link.
My battery is about gone so have to say good night.
Bristol is so darn cute. But I think this was her last week on DWTS. The Monkey routine was adorable, but it threw Bristol off for the rest of the dance. Even if she goes home, I think she will benefit from this experience and she can check off a few more thing on her to-do list. Mingle with the stars, be seen by millions on TV, and learn to dance all at once!
Let’s face it. How can a teenager with no dance experience... go up against Jennifer Grey? Bristol has gone about as far as she can go, unless Florence goes first.
I agree, I just don’t see Kyle being kicked off the show. Oh well, hey at least she had fun right, that’s really all that matters
Alaska would be voting with the west coast.
I’ve come to the same conclusion.
I see our Puritan friend is back.
There was extreme WANTONNESS tonight, dancing in monkey costumes!
This proves that Bristol is a Darwinist while her mom pretends to be a Creationist!

UGH, and it’s her birthday, too.
NOT nice, America.
Hey what can ya do, its a competition, you win, you lose, no biggie..I think Bristol really enjoyed herself on the show no matter what happens
This dance shows the ME ME ME in Mark Ballas.
He knew she didn’t know all the steps.. He knew she wasn’t doing well with execution. Yet, he gave himself fancy footwork ...and it made her cluelessness all that more obvious.
She was lost. he didn’t help her. He didn’t slow down.

Probably last night she will be dancing.
But she earned herself some money and she learned something about performing. It will help her with her next endeavor..whatever it is.
Mark ME Ballas can get off my screen now -
I think Bristol will be around one more week.
Kyle has not improved much at all. If Bristol has been in the top 2-3 vote-getters, that will be enough to get her to next week. After that, she would deservedly be eliminated based strictly on performance.
Zaftig is what I call it!
Doesn’t anyone remember that Marilyn Monroe was a size fourteen?
Thanks for your kind comments. She’s been brave and even if she’s eliminated, “more power to her.” She had a good time and id her mom and family proud and she gained a lot of self confidence.
Good night, sweet you.
