The Greatest Dog Ever is not on moving pictures. Only in stills and in my heart.
BG, Mrs. RQSR, and myself have lurked beginning in 2001 when we found out about FRee Republic from LucyT until we finally joined in January of 2004, so actually we’ve been associated, or members now for nine years, and tonight is the first time we have ever seen this apparently weekly thread.
This is right up our alley as we’ve currently 16 cats, 3 dogs, 2 horses, and a Donkey.
In the 32 years we’ve been married we’ve had over thirty dogs, and about that in cats. We’ve been adopted often.
Who do we see about a ping, or do we qualify? This should make me get off my seat, and learn to post pictures.

No video, but here are 2 of my pups. On left is Mole' and my new pup Choco. They are Decker Terriers.I’m sorry. I’ve not been on line tonight. I was busy watching “Hatchi” on the Hallmark Channel — the story of a great Akita who waited faithfully for his master to come back on the train from his day’s work (except his master had died).
Hatchi’s loyalty impressed the townspeople so much that they contributed to his upkeep and built a bronze statue at the strain station in his memory after he died. It’s a true story that happened in Japan in the late ‘20s and early ‘30s, but Hollyweird had to bastardize the story and relocate it to an imaginary New England town and put Richard Gere in the lead role. It was still a good movie, and I recommend it to everyone, if they rerun it (which they will.) Or, get it on Netflix. Keep tissues at hand.
