Are the days of laughter about to stop? Tea Party movement member and GOP candidate for Senate in Delaware Christine O’Donnell has apparently made some big gains in the polls, seemingly with the twitch of a nose (and her debate performance against a notably stiffer Democrat Chris Coons)

This race is going to be all about voter turnout and the Dems know it. That’s why BO and company were in there...to get out their vote. This year things are so volatile and so many people across the country are against BO’s agenda, the pols just don’t know how bad this is going to be, or not be, for the Dems.

I do know if the turnout in Sussex County DE is 75%, a lot, but consider the climate we’re in this year, O’Donnell will win. Sussex, by the way, is very conservative.

Anyone know when Sarah is going to DE and what she plans to do while there?

Where is the tolerance of alternative religions all of a sudden, I ask you?

The commercial you refer to for the newer generations here. It is 1983 and Jimmah (I hate killer rabbits) Carter is the reference.

Thanks. Unfortunately the margin is still pretty large, but the trend is encouraging.

Good points.

Two other excellent points I’ve heard are these:

1). If Chris Coons is really up by 15-20 points, then why did he bother to debate her? Is there a law he must debate her? Very unusual to debate when one candidate has it “in the bag,” so to speak.

2). Obama is going to stump for Coons. For the other close Senate races, he’s sent his wife Michelle to stump.

Imagine an O’Donnell victory. The effect will the a thunderclap shocking the GOP gloalists like Rove, the press, the administration - and would establish the Tea Party movement as an important foundation of conservative power and Constitutional principles from this day forward.

Which means that BOTH the Democrats AND the Republican Party establishment will be working for an O’Donnell defeat, and the Republican party will not challenge ANY poll irregularities by Dems in Delaware.

She was down 19 points in a poll 2 weeks or so ago, then was down 11 in the one by Rasmussen the other day. So while I wish her luck, they’re comparing apples vs. oranges.

I just made another donation to her... in memory of Karl Rove, former player. May he enjoy the Siberia he has so petulantly earned.

That's because she made a negligible 2 point gain within the margin of error of where she was before the debate, and he lost about 6 points to the undecideds while still retaining a double digit lead.

There's a serious case of O'Donnell Infatuation Syndrome afoot in the conservative movement, and it seems to make all afflicted by it oblivious to political reality or even the most basic facts about their fruitloop of a candidate.

If O'Donnell loses, the primary reason will be that the GOP actively worked against her.

I'm sure the fact that she's an idiot with a long history of questionable ethics, verbal gaffs, resume falsification, inept personal finances, frivolous lawsuits, and perennial candidacy will have nothing to do with it.

Do you ever post anything, other than to bash Christine O’Donnell?...

How about you give it a rest until after the election?...

Then once she’s sworn in (importantly: during the lame-duck session, scuttling the communists plans to sneak in their agenda by crook) you can point out when she screws up.

Which in this poster’s opinion, will mean you’ll have to find something else to constantly complain about.

For those so inclined, Ronald Reagan’s speech at the 1964 convention is an excellent one and should be heard again.

The key move has been more support from Republicans.
