Silly man. Don’t you know that only PETA and the Humane Society can slaughter pets?

Anyone ever see "Summer of Sam?" I know it's a Spike Lee movie but it's one of the few movies of his I liked.
There's a scene where Berkowitz's character kills the dog and then the dog comes back and starts talking to him.

Poor Mia. If she can survive the attempted euthansia maybe she’s healthier/stronger than they think. I understand if she’s in pain, but I kinda hope she gets a reprieve.

Nurse's notes: Doctor, we broke the vessel with the pestle. The pellet with the poison's in the chalice from the palace. The flagon with the dragon has the brew that is true.

As the poster on the website says, this dog isn’t meant to die yet. Let her be.

The ironic part is, he was having the dog euthanized because it had narcolepsy.

The protocol for putting down a dog correctly involves a big dose of a sedative, followed by a few CC’s of potassium chloride.
If a large-ish dog is given just the sedative, they can come back out of it in awhile.
There’s no coming back from the potassium chloride. Ever.

Dang. Poor dog’s earned a reprieve.
Diagnosis & treatment by a different vet, at least.
I hate to think if he’d left her there for cremation (would they try to “correct” their mistake?) or buried her right away.
