Well...do ya?
Please don’t abuse me..... I have a headache. Yes, I’ve been honest on this site...... I voted for him & so did my brother & we regret it w/ every fiber of our being. I also hear from others that they have family members who also regret it.
Hugest regret I have in all my voting life..............
Wow!
You’re brave to admit that (seriously).
Well if Jesus could forgive those who nailed him to the cross I imagine you can be forgiven too. :)
Only one who has publically admitted it and she did so fairly early into his term. She had always presented herself as a conservative so a friend and I kind of gave her a bad time when she finally turned against him.
Have had a couple of other Obama friends who have grumbled about him but haven’t admitted their mistake yet.
Yes, most of my neighbors. I voted for McLame only because Gov. Palin was on the ticket. Told them all that Obama would be (is) a disaster.
I know three who admit it, and quite a few who are just quiet. I also belong to a website where we debate politics. Two hard core lefties now can’t stand Obama. One of them is still a liberal and as nasty as ever. The other one is now a conservative. He was actually likable as a liberal. I guess the same characteristics stay within a person. A person is likable or dislikable, regardless of party affiliation.
Regards,
TS
My husband.
We were watching barry last year and my husband stood up and said “what a jackass”. I asked him if he meant the president, he turned to me and said “no me, for voting for him”.
My neighbors across the street. They had an Obama sign in their yard until recently. Mom now has two jobs. Ran out of hope.
My sister’s live in boyfriend. Called me racist when I said I wouldn’t vote for Obama. He changed that tune recently when my sister called to borrow grocery money. Now HE hates.
I let it go. I take no pleasure in seeing people suffer their foolish ways.
>>”Well...do ya?”<<
Are you kidding? I’m still looking for someone that voted for Jimmy Carter!
Seriously though, yes one, My sister-in-law and her brain-dead husband. Why? Not because they liked him, but, and this is an exact quote....”Because he’s a Democrat”.
I forgive you. :)
Just remembered one friend who picked a huge fight with me after the election because I was speaking against Obama. She recently sent out a joke email to me and several friends that was defintely anti-Democrat and anti-Obama.
Another friend who just recently became a citizen lambasted me for being so “negative” about Obama. Now that he is voting in his first U.S. election, he has asked me several times as to how to vote on the propositions in California.
Then another friend, supposedly a registered Republican, voted for Obama because he “wanted a black president” and he “couldn’t stand Sarah Palin.” We had a few yelling matches since Obama got in but now my friend seems a bit angry about his vote. But still, his pride won’t let him admit it to me.
Come November, 2012, they will vote for him again. Whether the so-called Independents will do the same will probably depend on who is running against him. In an Obama/Palin match-up, Obama would win, but barely.
I know several...all democrats...and several that have said to me that they will never vote for him again.
Yep. He found out that as a black man making $100k he is now a “rich white guy loving Bush tax cuts for rich white guys”.
I was in for a surprise about six months ago. I have a friend who is a prototypical artist— liberal, wild hair and clothes etc. I NEVER dreamed I’d hear what she said. She came to me almost with tears in her eyes and told me she had made a terrible, terrible mistake in voting for The Won. She says she now fears for her country and takes blame for having bought into his stupid line about hope and change.
Honestly . . . I was stunned. I still am. She was about last on my list of people I ever thought would say such a thing.
Heard a rumor that several thousand deceased voters in Philadelphia regret that their illegal votes went to Obama, but not sure about the dead in Chicago.
My own son. He was thorn between McCain (whom he likes) and Obama and in the end he voted for him
Now he regrets his vote, he doesn’t like that the dems also control both Houses.
Obamacare did it for him, being a doctor.
He still dislikes Bush and Co. and truly thinks that Sarah Palin is a dimwit.
I don’t argue with him anymore, it’s a lost battle and I don’t want to ruin my relationship with my son.
Yes. My brother-in-law.
