Have the strip searched Barney Frank yet?
Stealing wieners, what is the world coming to!
Pretty sad. I hope the owner had that cart properly insured.
Its a taco stand by now I bet....
A number of years ago I was wasting time reading while waiting for a phone call, and happened through a section of business opportunities. I don’t remember the actual costs of the carts, but only remember it was a bundle for one of those things, and the one described in the article is bigger than those carts I was reading about.
I hope he had insurance on it, because he’s out a lot of money if not. I feel sad for the guy.
They come in various prices.
I have been toying with the idea of getting one myself for the summer months in Japan. There’s a firm in Australia that makes some nice ones for about AUS$2500, but getting it transported to Japan would have been a nightmare, and then the licensing... I tabled the idea but still might try it if I can save up the purchase price.
But they are not cheap, that’s for sure. And this was this guy’s livelihood. It fed his family and paid his bills. I really feel sorry for this guy.
