If you have listened to the American hip hop duo called Insane Clown Posse, and paid attention to their lyrics, you would think that the two band members Joseph Bruch, and Joseph Utsler were God hating, devil worshipping thugs. For 20+ years, thats what most of their fans even believed.
The group even has a dedicated following who call themselves the Juggalos and Juggalettes. There have been various instances where Juggalos and Juggalettes have committed horrendous crimes such as murder, assault, arson, and kidnapping. They are considered to be a gang in several states, even though studies have not shown any evidence linking the Insane Clown Posse music with the crimes committed.
After 21 years of singing songs with lyrics that talk about drugs, and crime among other things, the band has come out and admitted that they are Evangelical Christians and have been all along. The idea apparently is to bait their fans into listening to their music and then tell them that God is the way to go.
Insane Clown Posse recently released a new song entitled Thy Unveiling which includes some lyrics that support this.
All secrets will now be told No more hidden messages Truth is we follow GOD!!! Weve always been behind him The carnival is GOD And may all juggalos find him Were not sorry if we tricked you. There you have it. Unfortunately a lot of their fans (Juggalos) are feeling betrayed. One anonymous fan said, After 20 years? Please. I followed this ban for over 20 years, and now they come out and tell us they were tricking us all along? Im done with their music. Other fans supported the idea and believe they did it for the good of humanity.
Band member Violent J (Joseph Bruce) said, You have to speak their language. You have to interest them, gain their trust, talk to them and show youre one of them. Youre a person from the street and you speak of your experiences. Then at the end you can tell them: God has helped me.
Love them or hate them, now you know Insane Clown Posse follows the word of God.
Pretty much anything and everything will call itself an Evangelical Christian for money these days, with the possible exception of a Muslim.
It’s a good headline. :)

the 12 apostles were the original posse.
You kidding me?! LOL, yes I admit I have ICP on my Ipod, especially Miracles’. Never thought in a million years. Let’s hope it’s not bogus Christianity like DMX which have prayer segments then go into hard-core rap about killing other bruthas’.

Why do I find this hard to believe?
“F*&kin’ magnets! How do they work?”

I think this might be the weirdest posting I’ve ever read at FR.
Beeber is stuned.
No argument.
What about Slipknot and GWAR? ;)
Exactly.
I don’t like ICP’s music, but I admire the fact they’ve made a cottage industry of their music and image...
I thought Clown Possie was an insane anti Freeper site.
Shall we do evil that good may come?
Matt 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Consider me a skeptic at this juncture.
