Mr. St. John then inked the tattoo on the outside of her thigh, and when she was able to see it, she saw that it was backward, with the word “Sox” in reverse, according to the suit, which names as defendants Mr. St. John and Mystic, 3120 N. Cicero Ave. in Chicago.

Also, she shouldn't have gone to a tattoo place on the north side of the city. That's getting into Cubs territory.

I had a friend who had his name tatooed on his upper arm when he was drunk, and they put his first name last (Peoples Eddy). It took him a while, looking at it upside down, to figure out why it looked so funny. All of my Navy vet friends said the tatoos they got were the dumbest things they ever did. They washed out over the years, and you couldn’t read them. They say the ink’s better now, but I don’t think it’s just the ink that fades and degrades the tats.
