logical reason for what looks like laziness to the fan?

Would it be that Randy’s about as rich as he needs to be, and he doesn’t much care about team success or playoff wins?

You obviously missed my whole point.

Tell you what, why don’t you run just 3 100 yard sprints, and then when i see you being a bit slower on the 3rd one, I’ll just say you are lazy and you don’t care about playing anymore.

As I pointed out he runs farther in one game than anby other player on the field. Maybe, just maybe, he deserves a bit of a breather.

Now you will say then take him out. What you fail to understand is, just his presence in the line up causes the defensive coordinator to be prepared for him to possibly run. So while the offensive coaches knows, and admits that sometimes he takes it easy because he is winded, they leave him in for a psychological battle of wits with the def.

The very possibility that Randy could take one to the house when not covered is enough to occupy one, two, and even three defenders at times. Especially if you are playing a team that does not have good corners.

So how do you stop the run properly if three men are watching Randy? Yoiu don’t, so with a great RB like Smith was, and now AP is even better, well... Just watch what happens Monday night. I expect AP to get well over 100 yards.

Also, don’t be surprised if Moss gets a few long TDs as Favre and Moss catch Rex Ryan loading the box with 8 men to either sack Favre, or stop AP.
