Oh, and we can not eat beans ‘cause that may produce f@rts. And, some people say cabbage causes gastrointestinal distress.

Are they still beatin’ this dead horse? The AGW bandwagon’s got 4 flats and these clowns are still climbing on board.

Except for our masters, who will continue to have the required Wagyu beef and Chilean sea bass. These nimrods seem to think that we don't know history. Sadly, in many cases they would be right. Research "sumptuary laws" and you'll see.
Back in the days of "Lords" and "serfs" only the "lordly ones" got much by way of animal proteins in their diet. The "serfs" were largely vegetarian.
This is nothing more than attempt to revive antiquated "sumptuary laws", using a thin veneer of junk science to justify it...

So two “experts” (cheesy professors of ‘resource and environmental studies’) at some university in Canada no one has ever heard of want to prohibit people from eating meat, and Reuters thinks this is a news story.

That’s what I don’t get.
Assuming they really believe their own crap, it seems that the quickest and most certain way to achieve their goals is to off themselves.
I’m all for it! Heck, I’ll even help if they want me to.

Let's use the Enviro-Nuts own argument here. According to them, meat (ie. beef, pork, et al) is bad because the animals burp and fart methane into the air causing 'global warming'. Plants are good because they clean the air and are pretty.
Ok...I eat meat, which means I'm eating the animals you say are a problem. You (environuts) eat plants, which you say are good. Soooo...whose really helping the environment?
