Buckingham is ALWAYS shunned in these polls. A damn shame. He is without a doubt one of THE best guitarists out there. Him singing Big Love solo with just his guitar is simply masterful.
He wrote a couple of great songs, “Holiday Road” and “Dancin’ Across the U.S.A.”, for National Lampoon’s Vacation but they’re hard to find.
Gotta agree with you there. Allman’s aside, Lindsay Buckingham just plays HELL out of the guitar, and deserves to have at least one notch in the top 25, especially if technical complexity is a factor.
