Gotta agree with you there. Allman’s aside, Lindsay Buckingham just plays HELL out of the guitar, and deserves to have at least one notch in the top 25, especially if technical complexity is a factor.
Harrummph. Santana deserves to be there. Maybe FR needs to create its own list - Gibson be damned. ;-)
Or a favorite cigar for the smokers. :-)
“Or a favorite cigar for the smokers”
Now you’re talkin’
Yep!
And while we're talking guitar solos, I may as well introduce a family photo:
Clockwise from bottom: 1958 Reissue Gibson Les Paul, Gibson Les Paul Junior, Samick piece o' crap, Fender 50s Classic Telecaster, Fender Highway One Stratocaster, Epiphone Dot 335.
Powered by Marshall, naturally.
No I haven’t. Do you have a video link to it?
Steely Dan’s “Reeling in the Years” didn’t even make the list???
Yes, a good thread. It’s bookmarked and soon I’ll be off to i-tunes because of it.
Need another thread on harmonica players.
Ty Tabor of King’s X anyone?
Santana? if you like 1 string guitar solos
Nice guitars, but the fact that you refer to them as your family, along with the two bottles of hand lotion on your bed stand suggest you really ought to get out more...;-)
How come Ralph Machio didn’t make this list?
