Good work, Sox.

Yeah, good work. You didn't even place so go break the kneecaps of your competitors. That's the spirit!

Yes it is. It's called being a spoiler. Since my Dodgers tanked this year, I cheer for any NL team who can beat the hated Va-Giants. That's the way it works.

I thought the Red Sox were the arch rivals of the Yankees? No? When did that change?

Can we next expect the Packers to throw a game to the Bears? Oh, wait ...

Do you think the Yankees would "place" this season if they had 19 guys on the DL like the Red Sox did this season?

For such a beat-up team, the Red Sox (actually the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox playing at Fenway on many nights) managed to win 89 games this season. The Saturday night game (the 9pm rain makeup game from Friday) was made up of almost entirely PawSox and mediocre players like Eric Patterson, etc. Yet they STILL managed to beat The Best Team Money Can Buy, LOL.

And best of all, there was no Yankee AL East Division win celebration at Fenway tonight. Thank you, Red Sox! :o)
