Yankees are wild card. Oh, the shame of it.

just love the way the facts are spun in the title. I don't think any playoff team won today.
Anyway, it ain't easy being a Yankee's fan, I'll tell you right now.
But it is worth it.

I’m a Yanks fan but they have stumbled into the post season
whereas a team like the Phillies have peaked at the end. Timing is everything-—tough to come out on top every year even for the most successful of teams.

Hopefully the Twins pitching staff doesn't serve anything up to A-Roid at an inopportune time. Should help to start at home. Also good that there's no Joe Nathan to lose composure this year. The Yankees really seemed to get inside his head. And surely the league will provide a third base umpire capable of seeing when a ball lands three feet fair in the left field corner this time around.
Interesting how all four AL playoff teams have been horrible the last two weeks.

RED SOX DENY YANKEES A CHANCE AT DIVISION CROWNThe Red Sox has about as much to do with it as the Patriots did.

The Rays won today, so what the Sox did today was totally irrelevant.

Did you get the feeling that neither the Yankees nor the Rays really wanted this division title?
The poor Devil Rays are now stuck facing a well-rested Cliff Lee twice in a 5 game series. The Rays are a fine team, so they may prevail.

Heavens to Mergatroid. Is beisbol still going on? When do the playoffs start? Thanksgiving? Christmas? New Years?
Will this season even be over before spring training begins?

The Yankees have had very good results against Minnesota in the ALDS. They’ve got their roster in order; they’ll be fne.

We were watching the exciting Padres vs Giants game today, but I kept switching to the D'backs vs Dodgers game just to hear our beloved Vin Scully one last time this year. I will miss his voice and his interesting stories...
The Dodgers had a nice send-off for Joe Torre after today's game. Do you think the McCourts will stay on as owners, or will the team be up for sale?

I see you brought out the “best” in the Yankee fans. Keep up the good work!
How did the Manny thing work out?
Take care.
