Two American players - Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson have ZERO points. Every European player has scored at least 1/2 point. At Brookline in 1999 the US came back from a 4 point deficit on the final day. But that year the Euros had several rookies that had not played prior to the singles. Because of the format change this year (due to rain) every player has played at least twice. I'd say advantage Euros if Tiger and Phil can't get in a groove tomorrow.

No the worse thing for Woods was that day he drove out of his driveway with his wife chasing him with a golf club.

I hope the Euros win...Tiger has disgraced the US forever.

Not looking good! If I had been Pavin I would have not played Tiger in anything except singles. He has been way too wild with both his drives and irons.
I doubt that this deficit can be overcome, but singles do seem to be our strong point...maybe.

Singles line up is out. Woods and Mickelson buried. Not sure why Dustin Johnson is 4th out when he's done squat so far. Strange. Lee Westwood v Steve Strickera
Rory McIlroy v Stewart Cink
Luke Donald v Jim Furyk
Martin Kaymer v Dustin Johnson
Ian Poulter v Matt Kuchar
Ross Fisher v Jeff Overton
Miguel Angel Jimenez v Bubba Watson
Francesco Molinari v Tiger Woods
Edoardo Molinari v Rickie Fowler
Peter Hanson v Phil Mickelson
Padraig Harrington v Zach Johnson
Graeme McDowell v Hunter Mahan

wasn’t it announced a few days ago that a Cheetah sex tape was just sold to a porn disributer and will go on sale next month?
I wonder how this great news affected woods game.

For some reason, those big-name players seem to be busts in the Cup competition. The no-name team in 2008 did a lot better. Time to go with the no-names and let the marquee players have a couple of weeks off. Bye-bye, Cup...:-(
