Very interesting article in a local Delaware news site. Seems like Delaware, is starting to pay attention to Ms. O'Donnell.
Unfortunately, the Delaware site the article is posted on, is on FR "do not post" list, due to copyright complaints...
Worth searching for and reading, at the site: (site url below)
Article is currently their lead story - link displays the Christine O’Donnell story first...
Mike Castle’s stupid voting pattern beat Mike Castle.
The traitors all must go.
Otherwise, it's a good rundown of the establishment vs. the TEA party in Delaware. The fact that none of the media want to publish anything about Coons, they don't want to discuss any of the issues, and they don't want to discuss any polling, all hint to the possibility that O'Donnell is ahead and walking away with this race.
I suspect part of it is human nature in some of these situations. People don't like to be told that one of them is unworthy, that somehow the media and the elitists should make their choices and an outcome is preordained.
I suspect that's what turned some primary votes from hillary to Obama. From Coakley to Brown in MA. To start coming around to Palin. And from the outside, it sure looks like the elite are way over the top in DE.
It's interesting that Biden is staying out of it. Maybe he knows it's an issue that's separating the has-beens from the people.
“The fact that none of the media want to publish anything about Coons, they don’t want to discuss any of the issues, and they don’t want to discuss any polling, all hint to the possibility that O’Donnell is ahead and walking away with this race. “
Or they just want to keep it under the radar and lull everyone to sleep while the Coons camp figures out how to steal this thing.
Really interesting read.
It explains why the RINOs all attacked O’Donnell after her victory.
They are scared to death. They cared more about saying “hey, she doesn’t represent OUR definition of a Delaware Republican!” than winning an election. These guys are afraid to attack Democrats, all the while getting pounded by them. They won’t fight back. They are frightened preppy blue blood country clubbers! They just want to not get beat up by Democrats. They actually think that joining the Democrats in attacking conservatives and Tea Partiers that they can win favor. They are beyond pathetic. Then one of these whiners goes on to complain that it hurts their feelings when the rank and file Delaware Republicans consider them the enemy now. Well what do they expect? They are the enemy! When they gang up with the Democrats to attack real Republicans instead of defend them... that makes them the enemy!
Then this guy goes on to lament the party affiliation gap. Well yeah, the more Democrat-lite they’ve become, the more their membership has bled. And he says “and that’s not including independents! Just imagine how many of THEM are Democrats!” What a piece of dung! I say imagine how many of them are Republicans IN EXILE! They’ll come out and vote for the first time in a long time, with O’Donnell and Urquhart running.
The RINO establishment convinced themselves that only RINOs can win, even though they always get routed! So let’s put this theory to test. I bet O’Donnell does better than any of the RINOs they’ve put up for the past decade.
THIS is a non-issue and fallacy. I'm sick of hearing these RINOs justify their liberal voting records and backing of liberal Republican candidates based upon it. So what if there are many more registered Dem voters than registered Repub voters? Do these idiots ever step back and think about why that might be? Of course not. They just blindly assume (because they want to) that it means most of the voters are liberal and actually LIKE the Dems and their big government socialist policies. Many yes, but for a sizable number of registered Dems, NO.
Many people in blue states register as Dems because that's where all the action is - in the Dem primaries. They just want their vote to count for something. Once the Dem is nominated, it's all over in the general election. It's either the socialist Dem (or perhaps a less extreme version, thanks to the cross-over Dem registrees), or the Dem-lite blue-blood RINO the Repubs always put up to run against them in blue states on the stupid assumption that it's what the voters want.
Give voters in blue states a CHOICE for God's sake. Give them an actual conservative to choose over the prerequisite socialist and socialist-lite candidates they're always presented with. Repubs might be "shocked" at the number of both Dems and Independents that would switch their party affiliation to "R", bring some competition back, and actually balance out the blue state party registration mismatch a bit.
