Today Oct 2nd, my wife and I went to Seattle to see my mom for her 95th birthday.
After a few miles as we drove to the ferry, I noticed something, actually the lack therof. There were no Obama stickers anywhere, not even on Toyota Priuses !
I became obsessed in finding how long this would last, so I looked at every single car we passed. I even looked in the rearview mirror when possible, and at parked cars on the roadside. I did not see a single one, even when we got to the ferry parking lot 20 miles from home!
We got off the ferry in Mukilteo. I was absolutely driven to find one by now. I HAD to see how long this phenomenon would last.
We drove East to I-5 past Boeing Everett. Still no bumper stickers of any kind. Finally! I saw one on a shiny pickup truck up ahead. It was for the US Marines. Shortly after that I saw a couple of Baby on Board signs in back windows. Going down I-5, still NOTHING. I checked every single car, and there was a lot of traffic. We exited near Greenlake after driving approximately 20 miles from the ferry. We drove past the Starbucks, bike shops near the lake, a VERY BLUE part of Seattle. It's similar to the Freemont District in its left leaning aura, but we saw NO bumper stickers of any kind !
After visiting with my mom, we started home in heavy traffic again. Not a bumper sticker in sight until 15 miles or so later. As we approached Everett, the only one we saw was a home made sign on the back of a motor home which said,
"We Will REMEMBER in November".
We saw not another sign of any kind as we drove through Everett for a side stop.
When we finally arrived at Mukilteo's ferry holding lot, I spied a very raggedy Obama bumper sticker on a beat up pickup truck.
After we exited the ferry and drove the 20 miles home, not a single bumper sticker could be found. I must have checked out the bumpers of a thousand cars.
This is very weird.
Theories, please !!

Still here in NM. Same neighbors’ cars have same stickers. One of them even has - gag - “Obama 2012”.
I just saw one on a Toyota Prius just yesterday but I controlled myself.
At least you have some good news, Steve !
As soon as I pulled out of my 7-Eleven—just south of Seattle at 8am—I saw a nice looking car pull up and an older guy go into 7-Eleven.
Yup. His car had a nice big OBAMA sticker on it.
I walk by a car every morning on my way into the office I work for. I noticed an Obama sticker on a particular car since the election. It disappeared a couple of weeks ago.
Arlington Va?
Also graying, addled leftovers from the 1960's and obvious homosexuals.
Plenty of '0' stickers on old Volvos and Toyotas with educator and local college faculty vanity plates on the Connector each day. Don't think I've ever seen one on a full sized pickup. Strange.
plenty of them around in South Florida. Moronville.
I’ve got that one. I also have ‘Not My President’, ‘01-20-2013: May we survive until then’, ‘Obama won, America lost’, ‘If Obama’s the answer, it must have been a stupid question’, and lastly ‘Tis the time’s plague when madmen lead the blind’.
I have proudly displayed these since Election Night 2008. I plan on changing some of them Election Night 2010.
I just recently to the bush sticker off my car.
Actually I was wondering where you could get some.
A person could make up some “add on” stickers to put right below it.

Typical democrat
Try Cafepress or Zazzle. Both have EXTENSIVE anti-Obama sections of merchandise, and let you create your own stuff.
Thanks, I will.
Or maybe it's the ones who just point and laugh who cause those folks to break out the scraper and Windex in the dead of night.
They are in Columbia, mo.
Still see Kerry stickers in Maine. Probably as many as Obama. Saw a Dennis K sticker too recently.
Then why don’t they ask for a refund? Like finding out who he really is before the damage becomes irreversible.
I saw two yesterday in the People’s Republic of Tucson, but on our side of town (conservative side), so I was shocked. One was, as per usual here, a PT Cruiser. The other a small sedan (not a Prius for once). I saw one one time in two years on a pickup truck.
Like others noted, the drivers seem to be either early 20s or aging, greying, uncombed, angry hippies.
I live here - I assure you, the Obama stickers still exist. Passed 2 of them today in just a single trip to Home Depot.
I also saw one in the parking lot at my university. Liberal kids are similarly slow to learn.
