Oh deer....
“Now just everybody wait a minute here. There’s no need to get excited. Let’s just let him romp a while before we shoot the place up.”
I was driving down I95 near Aquia Va. the other day and saw a dead deer on one side of the street and skid marks going off into the woods on the other. Your basic ovine bad day at the office...
Without even reading the article I assume it was a MALE deer.
This time of year they’re suffering from testosterone poisoning.
If only humans could be that predictable.
Did the cops shoot the dog?
Getting down toward the time of year when old Johnny Buck doesn’t want to see any of the other guys around - even if they are just his own reflection.
Now watch this guy’s homeowner’s insurance go through the roof because he lives in a “deer hazard area”.
Everyone who lives in a house that have ground level windows or glass doors and is even near to where the deer may play listen up. It is vital that you block the glass from either view or access from ninety degrees from the wall they are in. What happens is the deer sees “another deer”, actually his own reflection. That “deer” looks our intrepid buck in the eye. That is a challenge the buck often accepts, crashes through the window, charges around looking for that “other buck” and then leaves, usually through another window. It happens in deer country a lot more than is reported. It would cost far less than your homeowners’ deductible to put up a planting, stack your firewood or build a partial fence to block the deer from those windows.
This sounds like something I have seen numerous times in Looney Tunes. Elmer Fudd was never shy about shooting in buildings.
Venison, yum!
What is 911 going to do about this situation, wouldn’t it be better to call a taxidermist or butcher.

“David Ellis said he saw the deer slid into a drum set,,,”
Here’s your sign.
The deer was reported to be blown away by his experience.
