Everyone who lives in a house that have ground level windows or glass doors and is even near to where the deer may play listen up. It is vital that you block the glass from either view or access from ninety degrees from the wall they are in. What happens is the deer sees “another deer”, actually his own reflection. That “deer” looks our intrepid buck in the eye. That is a challenge the buck often accepts, crashes through the window, charges around looking for that “other buck” and then leaves, usually through another window. It happens in deer country a lot more than is reported. It would cost far less than your homeowners’ deductible to put up a planting, stack your firewood or build a partial fence to block the deer from those windows.
Better let the dear back in, just to “make sure” that other buck isn’t hiding somewhere...
