More encouraging words: We went out of county yesterday. On the way home we counted yards with political signs. They were almost 2:1 in favor of GOP candidates. Even our current sheriff (D) who goes to our church and is running for re-election says it’s going to be really tough for a “D” to win in our area.....I can see November from the car window!
A quick movie review, if you will.
There seems to be so few & far between decent movies, I thought I would recommnend one...
My daughter & I went to see 'You Again' with Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigorney Weaver...
It was cute, funny....no curse words that I remember, no sex scenes.....gets a tiny bit bogged down towards the end, but overall, has a good message .....
..it works on the level that all of us probably had insecure moments in high school when we weren't part of the 'in crowd'....
..this movie takes that & runs with it in a cute & light perspective.

Mike, I don't have a clue who will be in the series. I do know one thing....if a certain team and manager doesn't get their act together they won't be in it. It's hard to beleive that it's the same team that was on a winning streak about 1 month ago.

Allie got her first prom dress yesterday, sure is pretty, think I will have to go with her with my bat, the boys will be swarming..not really, they all know where she stand is life and church, it is so rewarding....
I fell like I ran a big ole race yesterday, sore as a boil, firt time is a long time I really felt like cutting the place on the tractor and yes, D talked me into doing it, did, stopped felling sorry for myself.
She is to start letting me drivr shortly, after I take a few driving lessons. I told her I prehapss averaged 120 mile a day for twenty years in a patrol car but you know how kids are, thankfully...

Was yesterday morning. Got in just as the pharmacy opened...We’re having an Octoberfest in the town where Walmart is....Thought I’d get in and out fast....but ALAS, Half the cashiers called in....lines were few and backed up. A former student is head cashier and she opened a line right next to where I was standing.Pays to know people....Got out faster then I’d expected. (wink)
As you know I am a collector of Christian books and bibles for inmates. I have been so worried not being able to get them to the prisons and now the solution, simple, thru the mail. I have got get the different size boxes they have and see how many I can get in one box, box em and ship em.. See what TV advertising can do for you? looks like a deal to me.
I want to encourage each of you out in freeper land to do this, bibles and christian books to prisons, for a fact there are a lot of lost souls all locked up with plenty of time on their hands, time can do wonders on a person, give it a try, talk to your pastors and get it started in your church..
