The desert is a vast area and it is easy to “lose” bodies out there and not have them found for many years.
Let’s see... Barstow, Ca. A desert area. about 200 miles from Mexican border. In Mexico, the smugglers are warring with each other, and cutting off heads as a warning to other dealers is pretty common these days. I’m gonna take a wild guess that this poor girl was murdered and her head left at that Barstow location as a warning, a “head’s up”, to some other dealer/smuggler.
