I am shocked at the amount of Julie Newmar fans there are. I really loved Lee Meriwether. Granted it was in the movie, but she was still the hottest of the three. Kitt sucked.
To: Frantzie
I mean she was almost obscene and the flirting with Batman. I am amazed it was never censored.
Here she is as Stupifyin' Jones in 1959:

Kitt sucked. I wouldn't go that far. Granted, she didn't have Newmar's looks but her voice was wonderful. Once Kitt took over the role the network made the writers take out all the flirting between Catwoman and Batman. No interracial romance allowed on TV in the 1960's (Captain Kirk and Uhura don't count, they were forced to kiss each other by the Platonians).

I can see off the bat that they are undrivable in a lot of states. No headlights, no title.Yeah, but if the police tried to pull someone over for driving one of those things, I'd hope the drive doesn't pull over right away. It'd make for a really funny car chase.

Kitt was the most feline Catwoman of all, in the series or in the movies. And she was very beautiful and IMHO, hot (can you tell she was my favorite?).
Maybe your memories mislead you..

I saw one of these Mark 5 on the 5 freeway here in Santa Clarita, Ca. about a month ago. Awesome looking in person!

Nah, they just spray-painted it onto her.
I just looked it up — she is now 77 (ad still alive — sadly Eartha Kitt passed in 2008).

I think Eartha Kitt was excellent also. I liked Julie Newmar and Lee Meriweather also in fact. Eartha Kitt in her 20’s was really something to behold. Santa Baby indeed!
