Director Quentin Tarantino's longtime film editor, who went hiking with her dog amid the extreme heat Monday, was discovered dead early Tuesday morning by searchers in Beachwood Canyon, according to law-enforcement sources.

This is very severe terrain, even though it’s in the middle of the city. And it was 114 yesterday. Isn’t that too bad.

That’s a shame. I don’t know of her, but I like Tarantino’s movies quite a bit.

I have always admired the work of any film editors. Now that I do video editing myself there is a deeper admiration. Poor lady.. she is younger than me but I relate as I do rugged hikes with my two pups. She was an excellent editor!

If you like his films, then you saw her editing.
Not familiar with the name but she did contribute.

I hated to hear that, Dolly! So sad! What a lovely family she had! Thanks, Dolly!

Yesterday was NOT a good day for hiking/walking/anything outdoors.
Sad.
Any word on the dog?

Her dog was sitting next to her body, which was about a football field's length from nearby homes. Her dog was faithful and loyal.
