As to the Sumerians, The Epic of Gilgamesh!


Yes, their twisted version of the flood story (from the giants point of view)

add to that their claim of their kings being hybrids between humans and space beings , a language that is not derived from neighboring languages and even their math was odd (sexagesimal but very good for accurate geometry )

Not sure what to make of that statement (about the Epic of Gilgamesh). Are you saying that Akkadian cuneiform was in some way divorced from other cuneiform dialects or are you saying that the specific Akkadian dialect of the standard version of Gilgamesh was remarkably different from other Akkadian dialects?

Help me understand what you are saying.

Like you, I find it bizarre and fascinating that the Epic was told from the Giant's POV, but didn't think to consider how strange the Babylonian mathematical system might be since was so d@mn long ago.

Your comment certainly piqued my interest.
