“How much missing time would you guesstimate at this point?”

Well, it’s been nearly 30 years since this event and I’ve never been one to wear a watch, I honestly couldn’t tell you.

I want to say there was at least a moment of not feeling totally aware of what was happening. Other than that....

Are there common durations of time for people who have been abducted?

Asking the wrong person about that. I just saw a light in the sky doing something weird in the distance. Duration about 2 cigarettes worth (5 to 10 minutes). It was my first and only observation in 64 years. Happened in 2002, Sept.
Spent a lot of time when I was younger working nights (oilfield) and bass fishing at night and frogging (for recreation) in the marsh (many miles away from civilization with no light pollution) and never saw anything even remotely suspicious.
My observation happened behind my house and the object was probably 6 to 10 miles away (just a guess) to the south east apparently over Chacahoula Swamp.
LOL at myself, those crazy aliens or the government messing around over a swamp again ;^)

NOTE TO LIST: WEBBOT UPDATE FROM FR’S OWN WEBBOT JOCKEY BELOW

IIRC,

it commonly varies from being immobalized for 15-30 min or so to being abducted for say 30 min to several hours worth and in some cases several days worth.

WEBBOT UPDATE:

The “Arctic/Mother/Warrior/Victory” concept thread came on the scene just before the string of Sarah Palin endorsed winners, so I had to assume that meant Sarah.

Hot linguistic values haven’t really changed since the “Election Fraud/Civil War” pair popped up in August. They include (with relative weights):
9.9 “Economic Holocaust”/”Real Estate Scam”
9.5 “Election Fraud/Civil War”
9.4 “Double Earthquake/Infrastructure/Destruction”
9.6 “Space Weirdness/Disclosure/Extraterrestrial/UFO”/Confusion/Fear
9.9 “Space Energy/Solar/Sun Spots”
...

The world is getting very, very weird.

Cheers,

WEBBOT JOCKEY—COULD YOU PLEASE give us some reference points for making sense out of the weights?

i.e. are the weights more intensity/dramatic/impact weights

or

more numbers of people contributing to such weights

or

soonness in time weights or what?

And, what are some examples of such weights of a predictive sort and their outcomes—maybe some that were right on and some that ended up being not very accurate at all even though they had say 9.9 weighting to begin with???

I want to say there was at least a moment of not feeling totally aware of what was happening. Other than that....

I had a missing time incident once. Wife and I were returning home from a church function in the car, on a route that we took every day of the week. I had driven that way for so long, that I could nearly drive it in my sleep.

I see our exit coming up, and my body is already signaling and maneuvering the car onto the exit ramp. My wife is chatting about the event and mentions that we'll get home just in time for her favorite show. I'm listening, while watching the road.

As I ease down the off-ramp, I look around and notice that the landmarks are all wrong. It takes me a minute, but I finally figure out where we are. We're about eight miles west of our exit. The wife and I look at each other in stunned amazement. We can't figure out how we could have possibly wound up here, in what seemed like the blink of an eye.

I get us turned around and back on the freeway heading east, and notice the clock. It's about 15 minutes after the hour. Now, I know that we left the freeway at about a quarter 'til. We were on target to make it home in time before her show started.

This realization really makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Somehow, an entire half hour had elapsed between the time I entered "my" off-ramp, and when I got to the end of the "wrong" off-ramp.

I couldn't make sense of it, because even if we'd become so engrossed in conversation that I missed our ramp, it should have only taken 6 to 8 minutes for us to roll off the freeway 8 miles west.

Not only that - the section of freeway between our off-ramp and the ramp we got off on, rises steeply, and winds through miles of undeveloped hills. It then passes several off-ramps and landmarks that are totally familiar to my wife and I. We should have noticed immediately that we'd passed our exit.

Besides missing about a half hour of time, and 8 miles of space, my wife and I never experienced any other strangeness about this incident. No weird dreams, or anything like that.
