Which five or more describes Obama to a "T"?
Narcissistic Personality Disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of grandiosity (either in fantasy or actual behavior), an overwhelming need for admiration, and usually a complete lack of empathy toward others. People with this disorder often believe they are of primary importance in everybody's life or to anyone they meet.
In order for a person to be diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) they must meet five or more of the following symptoms:
1. * Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
Wrote two book before he achieved any meaningful & Significant accomplishments?
2. * Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. * Believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
He only surrounds himself with people who only praise him and hires only professors and like minded people from the Harvard's and Yale's of the World?
4.* Requires excessive admiration
5. * Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
6 * Is exploitative of others, e.g., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
7. * Lacks empathy, e.g., is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
8 * Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
9 * Regularly shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

OMG...I am so pissed tonight
************************************************
No kidding..this is the way I feel EVERY NIGHT! It has been the most depressing time in my life since he got elected...if we fail this time...well failure is not an option, is it. Can’t go there!
Just remember..not only can we see Nov 2, 2010 from our house...we can see Nov.2012 from every bleacher seat in America!

Obama has spoken some form of 'I' or 'me' more than 16,000 official times since he took office.
Just for that alone, he should be in impeached and thrown in jail.
How about looking down his nose at everyone?
He definitely lacks skills for #6 and with regard to #9 he is rather pathetic then arrogant (though he obviously wishes to be arrogant...).
So he hits 7.
He didn’t write his “autobiographies”.
I don’t find pop psychology diagnosis very useful.
Obama is breaking the law by serving as President, and the law should be enforced.
That would be true even if he were psychologically in perfect health.

I lived with a malignant narcissist longer than I care to admit. Lets just say I got to know this personality disorder in a very close and personal way. From everything I have seen, Obama is a textbook malignant narcissist: a really, really severe one, with surreal messianic delusions. He is a dangerous person. With his approval numbers slipping and a bad election on the near horizon, he is going to be a volatile and especially malignant entity. It’s not going to be pretty following the Nov. elections.
If you are as convinced as I am that Bill Ayers wrote pretty much all of Obama’s first book and a good portion of the second, then this POTUS becomes even scarier. I saw a clip where Obama said the difference between himself and other presidents is that he actually wrote his own autobiography. How detached from reality does a person have to be to hold up as a major accomplishment something he absolutely didn’t do? [Michelle even admits Obama didn’t write Dreams From my Father, so there’s really no dispute on that point among informed people.]
I think Obama is the most mentally disturbed POTUS in history. In a sane world, he’d be undergoing heavy duty therapy. In the one we’ve got, he’s dictating policy. What a mess.

A lot of people were baffled by what he meant when he said, “We can absorb a terrorist attack”, or why he didn’t act on the oil spill for 51 days. It takes on a little different meaning when you realize that he’s a malignant narcissist.
We don’t know, but I’ve read the Audacity of Hope, and it definitely felt like something Obama would write. It’s hard to imagine some ghostwriter managing to impart such intensity of self admiration without thinking “christ, I should tone this down a bit”. Also, it’s written in a way that FEELS like Obama - all these precious little turns of phrase - you can imagine the guy nodding in that self-satisfied way of his when he wrote those bits. Totally bereft of content or emotional depth; undergrad creative writing stuff. If Ayers or someone wrote it he is a hell of a ghostwriter.
Where did Michelle say that?
I bought that book, I read a few pages, it was drivel. But I assumed he had written it, largely because it was drivel. But maybe not. When did she say that? I hadn’t heard of this.
These days having five or more of these symptoms is pretty much a job requirement for higher office
You might be right on Number 6 but definitely wrong on Number 9. I think he does manipulate people. That is how he got elected.
Obama is arrogant.
He may be pathetic..but he is definitely arrogant.
Okay, I looked into it, and the claim was made in an unauthorized biography. My memory of the incident had the claim in the other biography, Krensky’s, but it’s in Barack and Michelle, by Andersen: [quote from the American Thinker site]

Andersen Book Blows Ayers’ Cover on ‘Dreams’ (updated)
Jack Cashill
In his new book, “Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage,” Best-selling celebrity journalist, Christopher Andersen, has blown a huge hole in the Obama genius myth without intending to do so.
Relying on inside sources, quite possibly Michelle Obama herself, Andersen describes how Dreams came to be published — just as I had envisioned it in my articles on the authorship of Dreams. With the deadline pressing, Michelle recommended that Barack seek advice from “his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers.”

Then there’s also Bill Ayers confession:
Then, unprompted he [Ayers] said—I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said—Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He’s about my height, short. He went on to say—and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again—I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said—I wrote it. I said—why would I believe you, you’re a liar.

Re: the ‘We can absorb a terrorist attack’ comment. Much as I believe Obama is an extreme malignant narcissist, I don’t think that’s primarily the reason he made that comment. Ace of Spades HQ had a long and very chilling explanation of the remark—evidently it’s very common in uber liberal circles. What they mean is, the US should get used to being attacked every now and then, and above all should not overreact. I.e.: we should accept periodic terror strikes without starting wars over them. Iow, in the deranged liberal mind, the problem isn’t a few thousand Americans dying; it’s the hundreds of thousands that die when we strike back. Sick, I know. But Ace convinced me that’s what Obama was talking about. Here’s the link:

Narcissists get terribly envious so usually go into leftist politics. A nice selling feature of the right is there are some non-narcissistic politicians that love America, for example Sarah Palin.
