However, vets have not been able to wash the dye out of her fur and she will have to wait for it to grow out. I'm sure the cat is enormously distressed by the fact that it has pink fur.
And probably loves being washed, repeatably.

I once knew a woman who had the ears of her Chihuahua pierced.
I don't mind ears being pierced once or twice on women (I still don't like them on men) but on animals it is abuse because their claws can easily tear the earrings out and damage their ears.

I think it is abuse when ever you treat an animal like a human.
Its the dye isnt an issue. The attitude of the owner is.
Poor fellow just wants to kill a chipmunk, pee on a bush and be scritched behind the ears.

LOL! Yes but as a former owner of several Yorkies I can honestly say that they don't understand that they're dogs. They believe they ARE human.

I have a black lab, and I chose that breed for their gentle demeanor and how well they react with humans, but he is a dog and I must let him be a dog if he is to be happy.
